CATs to Modoc - "No spray! No way!"

CATs opposes the Modoc National Forest plan to spray herbicides on 8,500 acres, including one 6,000-acre site, to eradicate noxious weeds that have spread as a result of harmful forest practices. Weed experts have described many viable non-herbicide treatments, yet the Modoc's managers are ignoring integrated non-toxic methods, instead opting for an open-ended herbicide-intensive plan.
